WHAT TYPE OF SESSIONS DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH?

I primarily specialize in Bump to Belly. I photograph Maternity, Birth, Newborn and Milestones through your little ones first birthday. I also photograph families and seniors on a limited basis.

I do not photograph weddings at all but can recommend some great local photographers for you.

I WOULD LIKE TO BOOK A SESSION, HOW FAR AHEAD OF TIME SHOULD I CONTACT YOU?

On average, I book 2-3 weeks ahead of time during the year with very limited weekend availability. September through mid-December, I book 6 to 8 weeks in advance.

I highly recommend booking newborns several months ahead of time. Parents who pre-book their due dates receive first priority on our schedule. I only book a maximum of two due dates per week, so that we can be sure to get everyone in for their session in a timely manner. Sadly, sometimes parents who call us to book a session after their birth don’t always get in.

I only book one Birth Story Session a month to avoid overlapping of due dates and on call time. Because of this, birth clients tend to book very early on in their pregnancy to be sure to obtain a slot. For 2017, I will not be taking any birth clients from May through August and from November through January 2018.

As far as windows go, I photograph Maternity Sessions between 30 & 35 weeks and Newborns before they are 14 days old.

HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?

My studio is located at 910 Port Republic St in downtown Beaufort. Travel fees are included for outdoor sessions up to 20 miles from my studio. Additional travel is available for a fee. I do not provide studio services in your home.

Currently, Hunting Island State Park is set to remain closed until Spring 2017 and no sessions can be booked for this location at this time.

WHEN DO YOU SCHEDULE SESSIONS?

Newborn Sessions are usually scheduled first thing in the morning to avoid an overstimulated baby and give us the best chance at a great session.

Studio Sessions are scheduled between 9:30 am and 4 pm.

On location sessions are done either 1 hour before sunset. This time will vary through out the year. Beach sessions are must be scheduled around high and low tide which offers less flexibility on dates.

HOW DO WE ORDER OUR IMAGES?

Your images will be available for you to view during your ordering session. I require all decision makers be present during the appointment as this is when your final order will be placed. I offer online galleries and Skype ordering sessions for my out of state clients only.

DO YOU OFFER PACKAGES?

I believe that what fits Harry doesn’t fit Sally – Each person has individual tastes and needs which makes fitting you into a pre made package harder. We offer 3 different pre made packages that fit most of our clients needs but also have a very extensive collection of products you can order A La Carte to make the perfect package for your needs

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

I require a non refundable retainer fee be paid at the time of booking. This can be done over the phone, in person or through an online invoice. The amount of the retainer is equivalent to the session fee requested. Our Birth Story can be paid via a payment plan contract.

All orders must be paid for at the ordering session. Payment plans are available for product orders over $1250 – products are not ordered or delivered until payment plan is completed and paid in full.

We also offer a Baby Registry option for expectant parents to be able to share with friends and family to help offset the investment in their portraits.

I accept all major credit cards, cash and cashier checks. All sales are final once your payment has been processed and can not be cancelled or reduced.

WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER?

I am a firm believer in the fact that you should not need a device or electricity of any kind to be able to view your images. They should be proudly displayed on your walls or tucked away in a beautiful album or image box for the more intimate ones.

I offer high quality, archival items that I have carefully researched and selected for their durability as well as their unique designs. I offer a variety of Wall Art such as Fine Art Prints and Canvas as well as Italian hand made Albums.

HOW MUCH DO YOUR CLIENTS SPEND?

We encourage all prospective clients to come by the studio for a complimentary consultation in order to view all our products. This allows us to give you a better idea of price points and budget depending on what products you would like to take home to display your beautiful images.

Individual A La Carte products start at $95 and Collections start at $995

My average client invests between $1250 and $2500 on their portrait session to include session fee, high quality products for their home and to gift family members.

Milestone Session clients invest between $500 and $750 on each milestone on products.

Remember : everyone’s needs are different – some spend a little more and some spend a little less.
